I started Leave it on the Porch in June of 2019.  I wanted to create a space where I could share my bargain finds and where people could talk about the items they have purchased.  I have always loved reading the reviews, especially from people who are within our shopping group. It’s authentic and we can share our wins as well as our flops! (There is an occasional flop.) Before long, John became very interested in the deals I was finding and he wanted to learn how this all works. Life is much more fulfilling as a team!  He has become just as good (if not better) at finding the deals and he’s the cheerleader that we need - motivating, pushing, and thinking forward! 

 

Why the flamingos? We get this question a lot!  Flamingos remind me of the beach. John and I are in love with St. Pete Beach. We visit St. Pete as often as we can and I am determined to live there at least part of the year in the very near future.  My dream is to volunteer on a turtle patrol. I want to be one of those people who ride out on the beach in the morning to look for new nests, mark the nests, and collect the data.  I would also love to volunteer at an animal rehab for marine animals. (I’m not even into science really. I just love marine animals!)
